“Devastating injury” – Kyle Sinckler opens up on latest setback

Kyle Sinckler took to his Instagram page to announce that an injury he suffered five weeks ago had nearly jeopardized his participation in the World Cup.

His statement reads: “Around 5 weeks ago I picked up an injury which potentiall

y could have ruled me out of the World Cup. Which would have been devastating!

“As I write this post, I’ve managed to fully recover with the help of my team and the @englandrugby medical team and play in my second World Cup. I’m filled with an enormous amount of gratitude and appreciation.

“Never let something you care about almost be taken away from you, for you to appreciate it and realise how lucky you actually are.

“Thank you for all your support its been amazing so far.

“Everyone @englandrugby is doing everything within our power to make you guys proud back home.

“Looking forward to the next few weeks and how they unfold.”
