“Every Stand, Every Seat” – Exeter Chiefs Confirm Record Crowd for Leicester Tigers Match

Exeter Chiefs have confirmed that this Saturday’s match against Leicester Tigers, will see Sandy Park host the biggest crowd in it’s 17 year history. The Chiefs confirmed that this weekend’s Premiership fixture has sold every available ticket, with every seat taken and every stand packed to the rafters.

The news comes after Exeter Chiefs have had a hot start to the season, and return to Premiership action after back-to-back triumphs in their Champions Cup campaign. Exeter began their competition with a dramatic win against Toulon, before repeating the feat in a home triumph against Munster last weekend. Centre Henry Slade has been leading the Chiefs to these dramatic victories, and is putting himself into definite contention for a return to the England squad for the 2024 Six Nations.

The Chiefs are currently sat at sixth in the Premiership, but the difference between the middle and top of the table is only four points. If other results go their way, Exeter could climb their way into the play-off places, with seventh placed Leicester Tigers also looking to claw their way up the rankings. The Chiefs’ final match of 2023 is set to be a sell-out, with the fierce competition on the pitch set to match the jam-packed atmosphere, of the 15,600 strong capacity crowd.
