The latest odds to predict the winner of the 2023 Rugby World Cup have been released, after Ireland recorded a monumental victory over South Africa. The latest odds from betting giants Betfair, put Ireland and South Africa at equal 3/1 odds (25% chance) of winning the Web Ellis Trophy. After a trio of Rugby World Cup wins, England’s current odds stand at 11/1 (8.3%), whilst France come in with a 16/5 chance (23.81%) after the recent injury to their captain Antoine Dupont.

New Zealand’s odds sit just lower than their Pool A rivals, as the All Blacks are considered to have a 7/2 chance (22.2%) of becoming the first side to win the World Cup four times. Wales have improved drastically in their odds, after being 30/1 (3.2%) outsiders before this latest weekend of action. Japan sit at 325/1, with a 0.3% chance of bringing the Web Ellis trophy to the Far East.
