The Ireland Management Team has officially stated that five players – Caolin Blade, Gavin Coombes, Calvin Nash, Jamie Osborne, and Kieran Treadwell – will be returning to their respective Provinces to continue their pre-season training programs.
In a recent update, Jeremy Loughman, a Munster prop, has also joined the squad this week. Consequently, the Ireland training squad now comprises 38 players in preparation for the upcoming Bank of Ireland Nations Series match against England, scheduled for Saturday at the Aviva Stadium with a kick-off time of 5.30pm.
The final selection of the 33-man Ireland squad for the Rugby World Cup 2023 is scheduled to be unveiled on Monday, 28 August.
