Steve Borthwick’s England squad faced disappointment as their long-standing drought against New Zealand continued. Despite a valiant effort in Dunedin, the team narrowly lost 16-15 at Forsyth Barr Stadium, marking 21 years without a home victory over the All Blacks. Marcus Smith’s missed kicks were a significant talking point, alongside Damian McKenzie’s penalty mishap.
