Owen Farrell (England) – £1.2m

Owen Farrell has said goodbye to English rugby following the end of the Premiership season, as the Saracens fly-half has signed a lucrative two-year contract with Racing 92.

A statement from Racing 92 read: “Racing 92 can confirm the signing of Owen Farrell (32) for our men’s team. The England international has joined for two seasons and will join the ciel et blanc from July 1, 2024.”

A report from France suggests that the former England captain could be earning up to £1.2 million per season.
