‘Remember the Name’ – WATCH: England U18s Wing Noah Caluori scores incredible solo try against Ireland

The U18 International Series witnessed the arrival of a new star, as England wing Noah Caluori scored a stunning solo try to ignite the competition. Coming in yesterday’s tournament opener against Ireland U18s, the wing collected the ball inside his own 22m, and made his way past seven defenders on his way to the line.

Caluori evaded the tackle attempts by showcasing his stunning pace, and battled his way past the Irish wall with a solid fend on the defenders. The clip of Caluori scoring the try has since been shared by the official England Rugby X account, and has since done the rounds across social media. You can watch the video on the link below.

Despite getting the match started with a tremendous piece of individual brilliance, Calouri and his England teammates were ultimatly defeated by Ireland U18s come full-time. Ireland would promptly battle back into the match and took a 21-7 lead into half-time, and racked up a solid 42-28 win at the Stellenberg High School field in Cape Town.

Due to the tragic events that took place regarding French U18s player Medhi Narjissi, who went missing in the sea off the Cape of Good Hope, England’s fixture with Les Bleus has since been cancelled. The remainder of England’s matches in the U18 International Series is against Georgia (Friday 16th, 12:30 KO) and South Africa (Tuesday 20th, 12:30 KO)
