RUMOUR: Justin Tipuric linked with huge Premiership move

Latest reports suggest Bristol Bears are looking to add one of the top opensides flankers in the world to their squad next season.

Previously linked with a move to Ashton Gate in 2019, Pat Lam reportedly wants Justin Tipuric as part of his rebuild for the 2023/24 Premiership season.

The 88-cap Wales international has spent his entire professional career at Ospreys but is out of contract at the end of the season.

Tipuric, who also has one cap for the British and Irish Lions having been selected for the 2013, 2017 and 2021 tours, is also reportedly wanted by French Top 14 heavyweights Racing 92.

RUCK understands the Bears are still well within their salary cap allowance leaving them with room to go after big name players as Lam looks to build a squad which can compete following a disappointing season that sees them bottom of the Premiership.

With Tipuric having more than 60 caps for Wales he would still be eligible to play for his country if he moved away from the URC.
