‘Team GB & Ireland Progress’ – Quarter Finals Confirmed for Olympic Women’s Rugby Sevens

The quarter finals have been confirmed, for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games women’s rugby sevens event. Both Great Britain and Ireland have booked themselves a place in the knock-out stage, and progress out of Pool B alongside the gold medal favourites Australia.

The pool stages were wrapped up this afternoon, with the final six matches running from 13:00 to 16:00 in the Stade de France. The action takes a brief hiatus after the third round of fixtures, before the quarter final and placing matches get underway, with the games back up and running from 19:00 this evening.
