“Three more years” – Premiership Rugby renew deal with title sponsors Gallagher

Premiership Rugby and insurance brokers company Gallagher have announced a multi-year renewal that will see the partnership extend to a decade together at the end of 2028.   

Gallagher has reinforced its commitment to the English top flight by agreeing a new three-year deal kicking off from the 2025/26 Season.  Gallagher has been the official title sponsor of Premiership Rugby since 2018 and has helped drive attendance records across the league with the company’s ‘Right Here for Rugby’ initiative.

Last season the Gallagher Premiership was broadcast in 164 territories – reaching more than 100 million fans across the globe. In its debut season with TNT Sports the league achieved its fastest-ever sold-out Gallagher Premiership Rugby Final after the closest season on record.

Since 2018, Gallagher has co-funded Premiership Rugby’s award-winning community programme, Project Rugby, which has seen more than 100,000 young people engage in the sport across England. The programme focuses on the recruitment of players from underrepresented groups including, women and girls, people with disabilities, and those from ethnically diverse or lower-social economic backgrounds.

Independent research shows that 84% of participants wanted to play more rugby, with over 150 grassroots clubs benefitting from signing new players after the Project Rugby sessions.
