This Saturday’s Gallagher Premiership Final might be the last to be hosted at Twickenham, according to sources.

According to The Mirror, in an effort to rejuvenate the club game, league authorities are reportedly inclined to emulate the Champions Cup’s approach and relocate their prestigious event to unconventional rugby venues.

Potential considerations for future finals include Newcastle’s St James’ Park, Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium, and the recently secured Tottenham Stadium, which is scheduled to host next year’s European final.

When the new Professional Game Agreement takes effect at the conclusion of the upcoming season, Twickenham will still be considered as a potential venue.

However, it will no longer hold an exclusive right to host English club rugby’s major event.

Additionally, there are ongoing discussions regarding the possibility of utilizing neutral venues for the semi-final matches.
