On Instagram, Tom shared his latest crochet project: an adorable medal pouch, just the right size for holding an Olympic medal.

In the video, Tom explains that he’s been making these pouches for many of his fellow Olympians and decided to gift one to American rugby player Ilona Maher.

He says, “I’ve been making these medal pouches for all the medalists on our team, but there was someone special I wanted to make one for. I brought it to the closing ceremony, and I finally found her—Ilona, the legend.”

The USA Sevens star later showcased the pouch during her appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers after returning home.

The pouches are crocheted circles, stitched together in red, white, and blue stripes to resemble the French flag, and are the perfect size for an Olympic medal!
