WATCH: South African Rugby Players take on Sumo Wrestlers in Side-Step Challenge

Kurt-Lee Arendse and Canan Moodie of the Vodacom Bulls have been putting their side-stepping skills to the ultimate test, as they try to evade a group of South African sumo wrestlers. The video by World Rugby presents a series of challenges to the two Springboks, as they side-step their way past the sumos.

The challenge is to cross from one 22m line to the other, and begins relatively straightforward for the two Bulls’ stars. Arendse and Moodie comfortably evade the sumo wrestlers one-on-one. However, as each round passes, the channel shrinks, and another sumo wrestler is added, making for some entertaining footage.

The final challenge sees each player take on five sumo wrestlers in a veery tight channel. Arendse and Moodie both begin the challenge with three lives, with Canan Moodie dropping one life. Kurt-Lee Arendse showcased his nimble agility to complete the challenge without dropping a life, and comes out the worthy winner.
